El conocimiento de los docentes sobre traumas dentoalveolares, se sustentó en un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal. El propósito de este estudio fue determinar el conocimiento y actitud sobre traumatismo dentoalveolar en docentes de una institución distrital de la ciudad de Santa Marta. La muestra estuvo conformada por 61 docentes que trabajan en esta institución, Para ello se les aplicó un instrumento previamente validado por expertos, la cual estuvo conformada por 9 preguntas de selección múltiple con única respuesta. Del total de los docentes encuestados el 63,9 % refirió que nunca había recibido información acerca de trauma dentoalveolar, por lo tanto los docentes no cuentan con el conocimiento suficiente para manejar adecuadamente un trauma dentoalveolar. Mientras que con respecto a si es un motivo de urgencia cuando se presenta un trauma dentoalveolar el 72,1% de los encuestados afirma que si, lo que concluye que en un gran porcentaje los docentes no saben qué hacer al momento de presentarse este tipo de caso. |
