Teorías y conceptos. El proceso de indagación, estudio y síntesis sobre este enfoque pedagógico, se sustenta en el informe emitido en Estados Unidos por la Comisión Boyer , origen del concepto ABI; el aprendizaje significativo, de Ausubel; el trabajo colaborativo, formación del pensamiento crítico, cultura investigativa de Julián de Zubiría, entre otros componentes pedagógicos que configuran el desarrollo de competencias investigativas en los estudiantes.
