At first hand a literature review shows an academic context which supports our initial proposition. Following these review, an statistical analysis shows that our hypothesis is relevant. Finally a regression analysis done through a differences in differences model shows an unexpected result as the coefficient of the interaction between the variables that measure violence and family bonds is negative. Thus this paper concludes that, even though the regression results do not support the initial hypothesis, the statistical relevance of the impact of violence and family cohesion on the cognitive development of kids between 0 and 13 year old, proves that there should be more...
