Summary: | The performance of the MTDC Colectora 2 - Cerromatoso - Panama network is analyzed with reliability indices (EENS) defined in the literature under different generation and load scenarios in the system nodes, varying the installed generation or load capacity in each of they. On the other hand, a reliability and sensitivity analysis was carried out on the system, considering a change in the capacity of the converter station of Colectora 2 node from 1000MW to 1500MW. As a result, it is obtained that the system operates in optimal conditions for all scenarios in a normal or contiguous state. Also, it is not recommended to increase the station capacity as the investment cost is higher than the EENS cost saved. |
