The spectral analysis was applied to the magnetic total intensity anomaly to estimate the depth of the Curie isotherm and the thermal gradient, obtaining for the isotherm Curie a depth of 2.24 km and 258.9 C/km thermal gradient for the zone." -- Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado."El objetivo de este estudio es utilizar dos métodos potenciales geofísicos siendo estos la gravimetría y la magnetometría, para analizar los datos obtenidos durante la campaña de levantamiento realizada en el Altiplano Boyacense en el año 2008 por el servicio geológico colombiano, en la zona de influencia del volcán Azufral. Este proyecto se elaboró aplicando el análisis a los métodos potenciales y realizando múltiples operaciones en los mapas de las anomalías magnética y de gravedad obtenidas, para así contribuir con la construcción de un modelo que nos permita comprender geotérmicamente el volcán Azufral.
