Summary:"This project develops an AMI module (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) in the hardware-software framework GridTeractions. The AMI systems take into account many requirements stablished in the NTC 6079 standard, and GridTeractions is a project that make possible simulations of an Smart Grid's Control Center with almost every its characteristics and applications. The main objective is to design and implement a module of this infrastructure in the framework, which previously did not count with it. In order to do this work, a conceptual design of the AMI systems must be developed. After this step, the design must be implemented in the framework and a validation methodology is used to test the system. The main work task is related to JAVA programming, because this is the programming language used in the framework." -- Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado.
