| Summary: | The development of the city is based on the coexistence of different scales that interact and complement each other. This creates multiple dynamics that get together through the urban grid, where the continuity of the street, meaning the public space, allows the connection and transition between the different scales. However, in a city like Bogotá the importance of the public space has been forgotten, as much as the relevance of its quality and its maintenance. This is the reason why nowadays the architecture finds a great challenge in including the public space into the projects. As the main goal is to work with different scales, results useful to delve into the dwelling, as it is the first dimension to study in the city. Nonetheless, this exploration will focus in the productive dwelling, a distinctive socio-economical model of the emerging countries as Colombia.
