La siguiente tesis busca diseñar y fabricar un dispositivo de tipo lab-on-a-chip que permita la detección de la viabilidad celular de líneas adherentes a través de la medición de espectroscopía de impedancias (EIS por sus siglas en inglés). El dispositivo fue probado con células Vero a diferentes tiempos de cultivo y comparado con un ensayo tradicional de viabilidad de MTT. Dos circuitos equivalentes fueron encontrados para describir el comportamiento del dispositivo con y sin el cultivo celular.
