The success of the attack depends on the resources available and the time of arrival of these resources to the attack zone, making the resource location essential to control the wildfire. A mixed integer stochastic optimization model is proposed to represent the scenarios of wildfires, using a time-expanded graph to represent the dynamics of propagation. The model seeks to minimize the expected costs, including: facilities cost, resource location costs, and expected cost of distribution, excess and shortage of inventory..."-- Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado."Los incendios forestales son un problema de gran interés en la literatura debido a la amenaza que representan para las comunidades, el entorno construido y el ambiente. Para controlar estos eventos, el cuerpo de bomberos realiza operaciones tácticas que permiten detener el avance del incendio usando técnicas como cortafuegos, ataques con agua, entre otras. El éxito del control del incendio depende de la disponibilidad de los recursos y del tiempo de llegada a la zona de ataque, por lo que la ubicación inicial de los recursos es crucial. Se propone un modelo de optimización entera mixta de tipo estocástico para representar escenarios de incendios forestales, usando una red espacio-temporal para representar las dinámicas de propagación del incendio.
