This investigation looked to evaluate the acceptability and effectivity of the group Unified Protocol on five female patients whose ages ranged from 20 to 27. These patients sought the therapy services offered by the Centro de Atención Psicológica Casa Espinosa. The investigation used a pre-test post-test quasi experimental design without a control group. The results showed a significant decrease in the scores of the psychological tests designed to measure symptomology belonging to emotional disorders. However, the absence of a control group and the use of a small sample size are limitations to the reliability of the results.Los trastornos emocionales como los trastornos de ansiedad, depresión, y otros, comparten varios mecanismos subyacentes y se caracterizan por altas tasas de comorbilidad. El Protocolo Unificado fue creado para intervenir sobre estos factores subyacentes y brindar las herramientas pertinentes a pacientes. Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar la aceptabilidad y efectividad del Protocolo Unificado grupal en cinco pacientes mujeres de 20 a 27 años que acudieron los servicios de terapia psicológica del Centro de Atención Psicológica Casa Espinosa. Se utilizó un diseño cuasi experimental pre-test y post-test con un solo grupo experimental. Los resultados demostraron una disminución significativa en la mayoría de los puntajes de pruebas diseñadas para medir sintomatología perteneciente a trastornos emocionales.
