Description
Summary:This body of art work consists of the overlapping of analogous drawings (30), animations (one minute and a half) and digital art (72) in a 10 minutes video, in which I intended to capture (in a non-verbal language) the contrast between my outer and inner worlds from the impulse of creating visual representations. I am interested in putting my femininity and the stories that I have built around my corporeality at stake through a more sensorial process. It is an intertwining of emotions and experiences that contribute to my understanding of the world and my past. For some time I have been working with the body as a memory file. It is from this starting point that I want to delve into my gender identity as a woman. Just like memory, drawing rather than being something linear, is shaped by small fragments - sometimes illegible - that make sense when put together. In my body I save both the happiness and disappointment of the women of my family, especially my mother and my grandmother and my own.
