Pero si las personas quieren obtener rentabilidad de este mercado, deben entender toda la información proveniente de los bookmakers, y desarrollar un sistema que prediga de manera precisa los resultados de cualquier juego. Distribución Poisson, Regresión Poisson y otras metodologías han sido utilizadas para estimar el resultado final de partidos de fútbol en Colombia, usando diferente información obtenida para cada juego, y tratar de determinar si dichos modelos pueden dar rentabilidad a un apostador.All the information in the sports betting market can be interpreted by probabilities of each outcome. The bookmakers have specialized systems to estimate the probability of every possible outcome of a specific event. But if people want to get profit from this market, they have to understand all the information that comes from bookmakers, and develop a system that accurately predicts the different outcomes of any game.
