To understand this, I present three journalistic articles with the main three issues that the tremarctos ornatus face in Colombia: the lack of scientific knowledge of the species and the hardships of its investigation; the incessant conflict of this bear and humans, which has cost many lives of this specimen; finally, the legislative juggling that has prevented the acknowledgement of some animal rights to the bears.El oso de anteojos es el único miembro del género ursus que habita Suramérica. Usualmente, los osos han sido representados como símbolos de fuerza e incluso es considerado como el padre de los hombres en algunos pueblos indígenas, sin embargo, esta especie está catalogada como vulnerable de acuerdo a la lista roja de la Unión Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza (UICN).
