This following research shows that large firms have the capacity to do support their research and development process to induce neutral technological change in general represented as a shift effect on the production function. While small firm lack this capacity and dedicate their internal fund to imitate leaders and improve their process inducing bias technological change, a bias effect on the production function isoquants." -- Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado."Encontrar los determinantes de la total productividad de los factores al nivel de firmas ayuda a entender y analizar más profundamente los cambios tecnológicos y su dirección. El tipo de innovaciones en el cual una firma tendría acceso se diferenciará dentro del sector por las características de la misma y sus posibilidades. Esta memoria de grado concluye que las firmas grandes tienen la capacidad para incurrir en investigación y desarrollo a fin de inducir un cambio tecnológico neutral en general representado como un efecto de desplazamiento en las iso-cuantas de la función de producción.
