Este proyecto tiene como objetivo desarrollar un dispositivo no invasivo y económico que combine imágenes microscópicas y análisis mediante inteligencia artificial para detectar de manera temprana y precisa el cáncer de piel tipo melanoma en la población colombiana. El procesamiento se basa en técnicas de visión por computadora, procesamiento de imágenes y aprendizaje automático, específicamente redes neuronales convolucionales, para analizar características visuales como textura, forma y color de lesiones cutáneas y clasificarlas como melanomas o no. Se implementó un prototipo de software utilizando la técnica Phytorch MobileNetv2 y una encuesta de antecedentes médicos, logrando una precisión máxima del 85% en pruebas realizadas. El sistema propuesto permitiría el acceso remoto al software y el análisis de imágenes microscópicas cargadas por los profesionales de la salud. Las pruebas demostraron la viabilidad técnica y el potencial del enfoque propuesto para mejorar la precisión diagnóstica y reducir los costos asociados al diagnóstico temprano del melanoma en comparación con los métodos actuales.
