| Summary: | In the context of international forced migration, this research presents a qualitative analysis on the integration process of refugee women in Bogotá. From their own experiences and voices, their integration processes were examined through four categories of analysis: access to basic services, citizenship and rights, participation in the community and received support, and language, culture and environment barriers. The analysis through these categories contribute to a better understanding about both the opportunities and limitations implicit in the integration process as well as the reflection on the importance of having inclusive strategies from a gender perspective. |
