Description
Summary:This thesis pretends to deepen in the notions of love presented in the libro de buen amor, by Juan Ruiz, Arcipreste de Hita, and La Celestina, by Fernando de Rojas, centering its attention in the images of hunt exposed in both works. In the case of these texts, the act of hunt implies violence. The hunter is always chasing his prey, who ends up dying (or finding their damnation) in the act. However, the characterization of the hunt is not univocal: it is presented in different ways depending on the narrator. Taking this into account, the thesis analyzes the images of hunt to decipher their contribution in the notion of love presented in the texts.
