Summary: | In this project we performed a study of the behavior of the energy absorption phenomenon in stochastic open-cell cellular materials and in cellular materials with TPMS structures. Additionally, it was established which is the appropriate configuration to perform nonlinear simulations with contact boundary conditions to replicate the behavior of these structures in compression situations. Finally, relationships between the geometry of the cellular material core with the absorbed energy and Young's modulus were established. |
