Summary: | Planning of Reactive power devices in the networks has traditionally been done considering stability margins and thus steady state conditions. FACTS devices have the advantage of giving dynamic support to the network in case of faults. Therefore this work has developed a methodology for planning FACTS considering dynamic aspects. The location of the devices is based on the probability of occurrence of the faults and the impacts on the network measured in voltage deviation. |
