This project aimed to determine the role of bacteria isolated from the rhizosphere of Solanum Lycopersicum and Plukenetia volubilis as growth promoters under greenhouse conditions. To achieve this, an in vitro characterization of the biochemical features associated with plant growth promotion was conducted. Once characterized, the promotion of plant growth was assessed in controlled culture conditions by inoculating the bacteria into Tomato seeds. During the evaluation, six strains with characteristics associated to in vitro growth promotion were identified, three of which demonstrated promotion of tomato plant growth under greenhouse conditions.
