Summary:The objective of this project was focus on the development of a technological solution for a subject who suffers autism spectrum disorder(ASD) with the goal of improving his quality of life. The approach taken to achieve the above goal was to identify different types of problems that the subject has interacting with his environment. Once selected one of the problems previously identified, the next step was the design and implementation of an electronical device. The subject couldn't speak so the role of the apparatus was to provide a tool for him to interact with other people. The system can generate four words that will help the subject communicate, these words been Hi, Yes, No and Help. The electronical parts of the device were essentially an audio Module (WTV020-SD) and an Arduino Nano.
