Taking as starting point the role of discourses as builders of sense, and masculinity as a social construct that is crossed by different levels and types of discourses, the document discusses the male chauvinistic construction of masculinity under which "men" turn into agents of violence, because theyr'e validated by a power system that protects them, and vice versa." -- Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado.""El Hombre Calla", es un proyecto de dirección de arte que busca denunciar el papel pasivo del "hombre" a la hora de denunciar y condenar la violencia sexual ejercida por él mismo. Partiendo del hecho de que, en Colombia, la mayoría de casos de violación son perpetrados por un ?hombre?, el documento busca indagar cuales son las razones que llevan a los ?hombres? cómo grupo humano a callar y mirar hacia a otro lado cuando de violencia sexual se trata.
