Entrar en estos espacios implica para los pacientes esa última oportunidad de obtener un control sobre el cuerpo, acabar el sufrimiento o disminuir el número de crisis epilépticas. Desde la perspectiva de los médicos, el tratamiento y control de la epilepsia es un reto terapéutico; donde controlar la convulsión, mejorar la calidad de vida, mitigar el sufrimiento son los objetivos encontrados en las narrativas asociadas al tratamiento.
