Currently, the people who work there face daily challenges related to the difficulties that arise from not having spaces created specifically for the industry. Added to all this, the general lack of public spaces that encourage relations between the inhabitants, workers and visitors of the sector, is an opportunity for development and encounter that is being missed. As a result of all this, the question that guided this research was: How to enhance the dynamics of El Ricaurte, taking advertising strategies and trades as an opportunity to explore public space and architecture? It was from this concept that this new urban...Rotativa del Ricuarte es un proyecto que tiene sus bases en lo que este barrio es para la ciudad de Bogotá. El barrio el Ricaurte representa para la mayoría de los colombianos un espacio de innovación, un hito para la ciudad y sus habitantes, un referente de lo que el trabajo especializado en las artes gráficas es y puede llegar a representar. Actualmente las personas que trabajan allí se enfrentan diariamente a retos relacionados con las dificultades que nacen de no tener espacios creados específicamente para el oficio. Sumado a todo esto, la carencia general de espacios públicos que incentiven las relaciones entre los habitantes, trabajadores y visitantes del sector, es una oportunidad de desarrollo y encuentro que se está dejando pasar.
