Furthermore, new devices able to record sleep signals and stimulate during sleep have been recently appearing, but they have several limitations,such that the size and comfort of the system is not appropriate for sleep or that the stimulation is not controlled by a reliable closed loop system. For this reason, in this work we present the design and evaluation of a complete closed-loop system for in-phase stimulation during sleep. In particular, we developed a new prototype, called Ear-EG, which consists on an own EEG acquisition system capable of recording signals from electrodes...En la actualidad, los avances en la tecnología hacen posible el desarrollo de sistemas médicos portables que se encuentran fuera del contexto médico invadiendo el ambiente cotidiano; por ejemplo, hoy es posible conseguir dispositivos de electroencefalografía comerciales que adquieran las señales del cerebro. Adicionalmente, la aparición de dispositivos capaces de obtener señales de sueño en la comodidad del hogar ha aumentado en el mercado de sistemas EEG. Estos dispositivos poseen algunas limitaciones de tamaño y comodidad inapropiadas para aplicaciones de sueño o existen limitaciones en los sistemas de estimulación de ciclo cerrado que afectan la calidad en las aplicaciones de sueño.
