Description
Summary:"Global warming and air pollution are the main problems today, for this reason at COP 21 it was established that the average temperature of the planet should not be allowed to increase by 1.5ÀC in the next years. To avoid this increase in temperature, it is proposed that countries should reduce their carbon dioxide emissions, especially in transport issues. Following these measures, Bogotá has implemented policies that allow an environmentally sustainable mobility as an incentive for the use of the bicycle by citizens. However, the number of injured cyclists has grown, especially in areas with high flow of freight vehicles. In order to find the causes of these accidents and solve this problem, the 5 ZPUs (Zonal Planning Units) with the highest accident rates were selected using arcGIS. Subsequently, in each ZPU the main road intersections were analyzed to be visited".-- Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado.
