Along with this investigation, the history of the neighborhood and its process of foundation and construction was enquired, which develop into a better understanding of why the neighborhood have this shape and why does it have the activities that now possess. As an intervention sight, the foundational block of El Polo was selected. Today, in this place can be founded, besides housing, a church, a multipurpose court and a super market Carulla. As a starting point, different strategies were planned, which the project must answer in an efficient way. Among them is the connection with the extension of the Parque el Virrey, the connection with the Transmilenio system and the continuity of the regulatory traces of the existing urban structure".-- Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado."El trabajo inicia con una investigación del Barrio el Polo Club y sus alrededores y con este, la identificación de las deficiencias y posibles oportunidades en el lugar. Conjunto a esta investigación, se indagó en la historia del barrio y su proceso de fundación y construcción, lo cual llevó a un mejor entendimiento de por qué el barrio tiene la forma y las actividades que hoy existen. Como lugar de intervención se escogió la manzana fundacional del barrio, donde hoy se encuentra, además de vivienda, la iglesia del barrio, una cancha múltiple y un súper mercado Carulla. Como punto de partida se plantearon distintas estrategias las cuales el proyecto debía responder de manera eficiente.
