Reestructuración de la manzana fundacional del Barrio El Polo Club

"The project starts with an investigation of the Barrio el Polo Club and its surroundings, and with these two, the identification of the deficiencies and possible opportunities in this area. Along with this investigation, the history of the neighborhood and its process of foundation and construction was enquired, which develop into a better understanding of why the neighborhood have this shape and why does it have the activities that now possess. As an intervention sight, the foundational block of El Polo was selected. Today, in this place can be founded, besides housing, a church, a multipurpose court and a super market Carulla. As a starting point, different strategies were planned, which the project must answer in an efficient way. Among them is the connection with the extension of the Parque el Virrey, the connection with the Transmilenio system and the continuity of the regulatory traces of the existing urban structure".-- Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado.
