Description
Summary:The investigation of cerebrovascular accidents, also known as strokes, requires large databases from which accurate statistics and conclusions can be extracted. Currently in the research laboratory CREATIS, the team which works on stroke have a large number of images and clinical data of stroke patients; however, sharing and performing statistical analysis on the data has become a big problem within the team because everything is stored in one hard drive. For this reason, this report focuses on the design and development of a web system (http://brain-perfusion.creatis.insa-lyon.fr/midas) that facilitates and centralizes the storage and sharing of medical information for stroke patients. To achieve this goal, the Midas platform was taken as the basis for developing the new functionalities required by this project. This report presents all stages of development including: the creation of new components, the modification of file transfer, the integration with visualization libraries and the search component implemented with Solr.
