Construcción de un concepto de niñez en narrativas sobre el reclutamiento de menores de edad en Colombia

In his text The Child and Family Life in the Ancien Régime, Philippe Aris analyzes some Ottonian paintings in which children are represented as miniature adults, and concludes that this particularity makes it evident that the representation of bodies is a clue to trace a notion of childhood (or lack thereof). Therefore, it is possible to ask ourselves if current (cinematographic) narratives are also revealing a way of conceiving childhood through body representation. And in this case, a particular childhood: that of children and adolescents enlisted by armed groups in Colombia. The purpose of this research is articulated from this question, which is to trace its possible answer through the analysis of Monos (film) and its subsequent dialogue with the collection of poems Les di la mano, tomaron la piel (written by children and adolescents who have demobilized from armed groups).
