Summary: | "Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is distributed worldwide and represents the main cause of low respiratory tract diseases in children under 1 year, elders, immunocompromised individuals or with respiratory and cardiac pathologies . Despite its relevance, there is no vaccine approved for human use, therefore the identification of peptides that stimulate the ?? immune system without exacerbating the inflammatory response, becomes relevant. This study aims to evaluate RSV peptide binding to DRB1 * 0101, * 0701 and * 0401 alleles of HLA class II molecules, with the joint use of bioinformatic algorithms such as Syfpeithi, P9 and NetMHCIIpan 3.1. Results are evaluated against the concept of supertypes and finally, a tool based on molecular docking is used." -- Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado. |
