Description
Summary:"The process of analysis and mapping allowed the understanding of the place through of time, thus achieving the linking of activities of the groups present in the area and the natural water cycles through architectural elements. This project aims the recovery of life in the first section of the Fucha river. The intervention is the manifestation of the functions of the geographical past of the area, particularly in the history of the flow of water resources. The passing of the years and the intervention of man was gradually modifying the great complex of this alluvial valley. The constructions not adapted to the environment, the channeling of the creek together with the interruption the cycle that is needed to nourish and make life sustainable witnessed the invasion conflicts of foreign vegetation. The intervention is a reflection of how to understand and integrate the cultural and natural elements of the area into this potential urban and natural connection axis. Using human activity a positive contribution to the recovery of life in the riverbed and its surroundings, thus returning its condition to what some once it was, a river capable of sustaining life on a larger scale."--Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado.
