However, it seems as if the city is actually filled with a series of systems responsible for creating bad experiences and troublesome spaces. Due to the extensive amount of space and sub-structures that it requires, the city's transportation infrastructure is commonly blamed for this condition. Another factor for this problem is the way human beings have chosen to travel across the city, prioritizing long distances and high speeds, but dismissing the human scale and what it requires. Nonetheless, it is impossible to discard these massive bodies of infrastructure, as they are crucial for the city's performance. As a result, a considerable dilemma arises between two equally important components of the city. "Dentro de la Línea" is a project that deals with...La ciudad es el espacio en el cual un gran número de personas se agrupa para mejorar sus condiciones colectivamente. Sin embargo, en la actualidad cuenta con una serie de sistemas que son responsables de crear malas experiencias y espacios desagradables. Comúnmente la infraestructura de movilidad es señalada como la principal culpable de esta situación, debido a la gran cantidad de espacio que consume y las sub-estructuras que requiere para funcionar. Por otro lado se puede argumentar que el ser humano ha escogido una manera de transportarse en la ciudad que va completamente en contra de nuestra propia condición, favoreciendo altas velocidades para cubrir grandes distancias, pero dejando a un lado la escala humana. Y finalmente creando grandes espacios inhóspitos dentro del espacio en donde habitamos.
