This study aimed to understand the impact of experimental warming using OTC (open top chambers) in the field on leaf temperature regulation and water stress for three páramo rosettes species: Espeletia argentea, Espeletia grandiflora and Espeletia corymbosa using infra-red thermography. En Colombia, las regiones alpinas húmedas son conocidas como páramos y su potencial para la purificación, almacenamiento y regulación del agua las convierte en ecosistemas estratégicos. A pesar de su importancia, estos ecosistemas están siendo amenazados por diferentes actividades antropogénicas.... El objetivo de este estudio fue conocer el impacto del calentamiento experimental con OTC en campo, sobre la regulación de la temperatura de las hojas y el estrés hídrico de tres especies de rosetas de páramo: Espeletia argentea, Espeletia grandiflora y Espeletia corymbosa mediante termografía infrarroja.
