This panorama presents great difficulties for the establishment of native plants, for these reasons, the aim of this study is to evaluate Lysinibacillus sphaericusï effect on the restoration of fire affected soils and Alnus acuminata sbsp. acuminata growth. A consortium formed by 7 L. sphaericus strains (OT4B.26, OT4B.31, OT4B.32, OT4B.49, CBAM5, III(3)7, 2362) was formulated to evaluate its effect on soil Nitrogen content and A. acuminata growth under greenhouse conditions." -- Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado."La Hacienda El Noviciado, ubicada en Cota, Cundinamarca, Colombia, se ha visto afectada por una serie de incendios de alta intensidad en los últimos 20 años causados por la interacción de diferentes factores: desechos, clima seco, aumento de la temperatura, prolongación de la estación seca, perdida de cobertura vegetal nativa y reservorios de agua, colonización de plantas invasoras (especies pirogénicas) entre otras... Este panorama presenta grandes dificultades para el establecimiento de plantas nativas, por estas razones, el objetivo de este estudio es evaluar el efecto de Lysinibacillus sphaericus sobre la restauración de suelos afectados por incendios y el crecimiento de Alnus acuminata sbsp. Acuminata.
