Description
Summary:The analysis of the social, economic and cultural conditions of women in Colombia seeks to understand why women have experienced some type of vulnerability in their lives, where, according to statistics, they are part of the most vulnerable population in Colombia. This thesis aims to work with this population, more specifically in Fundación Manos Amorosas (in charge of providing economic support to women in a state of vulnerability in the neighborhood of Mártires) seeking to externalize the life histories, feelings, experiences and anecdotes through its product elaborated with rings of metallic containers of drinks. Throughout the project, a process and a methodology were proposed to work with these women, in order to rescue their creative character and thus strengthen their self-esteem and confidence, demonstrating that they are able to go beyond their own perceptions thus empowering them.
