Description
Summary:"In this project a design of a device for assisting manual manufacturing and assembly processes is presented. This device consists of a low-power green laser that is projected into an XY plane by numeric control. Movement in both X and Y axis is performed by two independent mirrors. Electronic controllers were chosen primarly due to readability of the encoders that give the position of each motor. Finally, by evaluating projection methods it was concluded that rasterizing gives more complex geometries, while vector projection minimizes motor use. This device has industrial aplications such as automotive assembly, construction, instalation processes, or material processing. In this work it was not possible to make a prototipe fue to the COVID-19 pandemic, thus real performance was not evaluated."--Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado
