Summary: | In this work a new controller design methodology is develped, additional information about the systems is introduced in order to find a sparse controller concordant with the physical system, and also combining other well known control strategies. The objective is reduce implementation, computational and operation costs, maintining a suitable performance. This new framework is based on optimal control design processes, it is usually related with cost functions, those are penalized with a interest variables norm which is designed using apriori information about the system. There are different classes of penalization norms, in this work is shown how to calculate and design some of them. This document has two main sections, each one is presented as an article. The first one is Structural Sparsity in Networked Control Systems, which was accepted in IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems Journal. This work outlines structural norms and how calculate them, an application for a state feedback system using optimal... |
