Necesidades en normas y legislación con el fin de hacer más atractivas las tecnologías sin zanja

The present research aims to provide relevant scientific knowledge on the development of regulations and legislation applicable to Colombia, in order to make the trenchless technologies more attractive. The country does not have regulations related to procedures and techniques for the use of trenchless technologies. In addition, some of de reasons of the restricted use of this technologies are ignorance of the subject and little interest on the part of companies, public entities, universities, etc. Knowing this, this research describes the most important trenchless technologies on the market, methodologies for the selection of the most appropriate technologies according to each project are presented. Likewise, open-cut construction methods are compared with trenchless methodologies and different international regulations that encourage or oblige the use of these technologies for the development of underground asset intervention projects. In addition, the current state of use and regulations of technologies in Colombia is presented. Finally, a regulation proposal for the incentive of the technologies that serves as guide to structure and/or optimize future regulations of trenchless technologies in Colombia is presented.--Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado.
