We propose that the hidden curricula within Mexican legal education contains strong anatomopolitical components which regulate the bodies and appearances of law students under the discourse of "formality" and "professional image". Following the approaches made by Entwistle (2001), we extend anatomopolitics not only to the body, but it's public presentation, i.e. its dressing. "Foucault's notion of discourse can enable the analysis of fashion as a discursive domain which sets significant parameters around the body and its presentation" (Entwistle, 2001, p. 39). In order to present this theory, we interviewed 40 law students from 22 different law schools in Mexico, and 15 teachers from 7 law schools about their lived experience.p. 165-189application/pdfengTo look like a lawyer: anatomopolitics within the hidden curriculum in Mexican legal dducationArtículo de revistainfo:eu-repo/semantics/articlehttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_2df8fbb1http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85Texthttp://purl.org/redcol/resource_type/ARTBiopoliticsHidden curriculaProfessional appearanceDerechoUNA Revista de DerechoPublicationTEXTUNA_6_AnzolaMoyssen.pdf.txtUNA_6_AnzolaMoyssen.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain75045https://repositorio.uniandes.edu.co/bitstreams/6349fc88-570c-4c0c-ac91-bb8451b2f003/downloade3cff1623e229148d03d528389f30eeaMD52THUMBNAILUNA_6_AnzolaMoyssen.pdf.jpgUNA_6_AnzolaMoyssen.pdf.jpgIM Thumbnailimage/jpeg20645https://repositorio.uniandes.edu.co/bitstreams/5cf037ab-e324-4f98-a116-71e6f3134a88/download99b7cb02d7b595bd03240dfef5b0f63bMD53ORIGINALUNA_6_AnzolaMoyssen.pdfUNA_6_AnzolaMoyssen.pdfapplication/pdf330497https://repositorio.uniandes.edu.co/bitstreams/bb8d6782-c030-42b8-88fc-a41ee01ccf27/downloadc76d4323c0cde2d81aad574b6729d23eMD511992/54855oai:repositorio.uniandes.edu.co:1992/548552023-10-10 18:22:44.218http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/open.accesshttps://repositorio.uniandes.edu.coRepositorio institucional Sénecaadminrepositorio@uniandes.edu.co
