La cooperación internacional al desarrollo y la igualdad de género y el empoderamiento de las mujeres en Colombia, con énfasis en la salud y los derechos sexuales y reproductivos

International Cooperation has been interested since its inception in the conditions of women and gender equality, but little has been proven its scope and effectiveness. This research reports on the trends, limitations and challenges of cooperation in gender equality and the empowerment of women in Colombia in the decade 2006-2017, with an emphasis on sexual and reproductive health and rights, from a feminist perspective. The study applies a mixed research methodology with a sequential explanatory design, based on indicators of bilateral official assistance at the project level and interviews with representatives of La Mesa por la Vida y la Salud de las Mujeres. It is concluded that, although the International Cooperation has contributed to promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights in Colombia, its progress has been modest or unsatisfactory.
