Summary: | Through the study of the concept of gender inequities within the social studies of science and technology, I make a characterization of how these arguments are constructed from different epistemological edges. An initial effort is aimed at showing how gender inequities associated with science and technology can also be extended to engineering with the use of feminist theoretical concepts, while the second part focuses on explaining how the arguments are used to justify gender inequities attached to scientific objectivist epistemology. Through the use of the concept "small differences" I propose to problematize biases and subjectivities of interpretation at the moment of wanting to show or illustrate gender inequities from the statistics and numbers.--Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado. |
