Description
Summary:The present work deals with the characterization of a hemispherical type of pan used in the stoves of the panela industry. The principal objective is quantified, based on the main models of heat transfer and thermodynamics, values of interest with the development of a model that can simulate the behavior of the pan under typical working conditions. Primarily, you want to see the amount of heat that needs to be transferred that is generated from the combustion of Bagazo and other external agents in the stove. The final product is a code in the EES language, which inputs are the different geometric values of the pan, in this way, the code can be adjusted to any type of hemispherical pan on the market. Finally, employing the model of the code, the results obtained of the heat transferred are graphed and analyzed obtaining relevant conclusions for the industry.
