Nevertheless, these neck braces are rigid and are unable to fit in obstacles present at several accident scenes, be them car crashes, cave-ins, and collapsed buildings. As a solution to this problem, we have come up with the idea of making an inflatable neck brace. This one is more flexible and is easier to deploy than the traditional neck brace. The strategy to be implemented in selling such objects would be to privately sell these to several companies that deploy ambulances across the city of Bogotá. Naturally, the competition for our product is the traditional Philadelphia style neck brace, but the advantage we have is the flexibility of this model and the decreased dexterity need in our product.A día de hoy, a la hora de atender accidentes en Colombia, un equipo crucial es el collarín. Esto se usa para inmovilizar la columna a nivel del cuello para reducir la probabilidad de agravar una lesión posible a la espina dorsal dada por movimientos no deseados. Sin embargo, estos cuellos son rígidos y no son capaces de caber en espacios reducidos como con obstáculos presentes en la escena de varios accidentes: choques automovilísticos, accidentes de cueva y edificios colapsados. Como solución a este problema, se ocurrió la idea de un cuello ortopédico inflable. Esta es más flexible y es más fácil de aplicar que un cuello ortopédico real. La estrategia de implementación y de venta incluye la aproximación a compañías privadas de ambulancias en Bogotá.
