Description
Summary:This document shows the design of a portable potentiostat that is smaller than one third of the size of the proposed potentiostat stated on the thesis document of the doctoral student Christian Segura. The first main objective is to design a PCB of a two-layer potentiostat with through hole components as well as surface mount on the program Eagle, which has also a smaller size than the original potentiostat without compromising its functionality. The second main objective is to generate the manufacture information of the Potentiostat. And the third main objective is to calculate the size and cost of all the components. This document contains theoretical and historical framework of potentiostats and electrochemical cells, the definition and specification of the work, the work methodology, work done and conclusions.
