De este modo, la investigación se centra en entender las particularidades que enmarca el territorio donde se ubican dichos antagonismos, para generar por medio del diseño estrategias que cierren la brecha entre uno y otro, logrando tejer las relaciones humanas y naturales que se fragmentan en la ciudad por medio del re significación del espacio público. Es así como el proyecto toma como punto de partida la confrontación de dos diferentes colisiones urbanas entre infraestructura y paisaje. Por un lado, se indaga sobre el túnel subterráneo de la quebrada la vieja, situado en la avenida circunvalar con calle 70, lugar de conexión inmediata entre las aguas que bajan de los cerros orientales adentrándose a la ciudad. Y, por otra parte, se analiza el puente de conexión existente en el humedal de Tibabuyes a la altura del barrio Lisboa en el occidente de la ciudad. Lugar en el que desembocan diversos canales de agua tras haber realizado su recorrido por la urbe. De este modo, si se trazase una línea recta en el plano, dichos puntos se ubican justo en los costados opuestos, donde nacen y desembocan los cuerpos de agua en la ciudad. Siendo los antagonismos presentes entre los dos, los que suscitan el interés de activar el uso del espacio público como mecanismo de unión. Por lo anterior, se ha realizado una exploración en lo que representa la superficie donde se ubica lo público, dentro del marco urbano, social y ambiental. Dicha investigación ha conllevado al entendimiento de la superficie como una piel que recubre el territorio y que puede adaptarse a las condiciones del entorno. Bajo este entendimiento, se hace uso de este término como elemento que puede adecuarse a las condiciones opuestas que suscitan los lugares analizados.The project is based on the confrontation of urban antagonisms that are reflected through the hydrology of Bogotá. In this way, the research focuses on understanding the particularities that frame the territory where these antagonisms are located, generating through design different strategies that close the gap between one and the other, managing to weave the human and natural relationships that are fragmented in the city through the re significance of public space. This is how the project takes as its starting point the confrontation of two different urban collisions between infrastructure and landscape. On the one hand, it is investigated the underground tunnel of the Quebrada la vieja located on the circumvallar avenue with 70th street, a place of immediate connection between the waters that descend from the eastern hills entering the city. And, on the other hand, the existing connection bridge in the Tibabuyes wetland at the Lisbon district in the west of the city is analyzed. Place where various water canals flow after having made its journey through the city. Thus, if a straight line is drawn on the plane, these points are located just on the opposite sides, where the bodies of water are born and flow into the city. Being the antagonisms present between them, the ones that arouse the interest of activating the use of public space as a mechanism of union. Therefore, an exploration has been carried out in what represents the surface where the public is located, within the urban, social and environmental framework. This research has led to the understanding of the surface as a skin that covers the territory and that can adapt to the surrounding conditions.
