Description
Summary:The evolution of digital channels in the financial services industry adds another layer of complexity for populations who may have little or no experience with digital tools. These changes could be particularly detrimental to the interests of older users who are less comfortable with using digital financial services due to fears or mistrust. For this reason, it becomes more relevant to ensure accesibility to digital financial tools for this population as the tendency evolves, otherwise it is possible that inequalities in access and generational gap will worsen. That?s where the design process is implemented to not only create solutions that involve the understanding of this user?s behavior, but also that manage to create value without interfering with the thought processes of this population group. Based on the understanding of the determining factors that promote or stop the adoption of these channels by the elderly, the creation of a digital service that provides autonomy to the elderly is proposed while their protection is assured and communicated through ?usability?, direct assistance and the participation of a family member.
