Summary: | "International law applicable to armed conflicts at sea has been developed during the twentieth century, through treaties and customary international law. However, the positive evolution of the law of the sea and a better understanding of the ocean, has allowed the development of scenarios of interpretation instead than a specific regulation for naval warfare, according to the State interests and other actors in the international system.
