However, these ecosystems are also exposed to environmental effects due to processes of agriculture, mining, deforestation and climate change. The main objective of this document is to develop a bibliographic review in which the different legal actions regarding the management and conservation of páramo ecosystems are observed. This is based on a historical account of national and international actions carried out by different entities, governments or organizations.Los ecosistemas de páramo, se encuentran ubicados en las regiones centro y sur americanas, en las cuales conforman un corredor ininterrumpido. Estos ecosistemas de gran importancia para la calidad de vida humana, brindan diferentes servicios de provisión, regulación, soporte y culturales a las comunidades aledañas, así como a regiones completas. Sin embargo, estos ecosistemas también se ven expuestos a afectaciones medioambientales debido a procesos de agricultura, minería, deforestación y cambio climático. Este documento tiene como objetivo principal desarrollar una revisión bibliográfica en la cual se observen las diferentes acciones legales a cerca del manejo y conservación de los ecosistemas de páramo.
