This project can be the foundation to build a bigger knowledge base that would allow us to understand and analyze problems in a certain industry or enterprise, and relate them to some of its likely root causes. With this, enterprises would get a proper idea of where to concentrate their efforts.Este paper utiliza una serie de observaciones empíricas en diferentes procesos de múltiples. empresas. Con lo anterior, se busca iniciar la construcción de una base de conocimiento sobre los problemas presentes en estos procesos y sus causas raíz más probables. El proyecto encontró 61 problemas observados y 25 causas raíz normalizadas en 10 diferentes dimensiones. Adicionalmente, estas dimensiones se encuentran distribuidas en 12 industrias y 85 empresas diferentes. Este proyecto puede ser la base para la construcción de una base de conocimiento más grande que permita comprender y analizar problemas en industrias o empresas específicas, y relacionarlos a posibles causas raíz.
